  1. This file contains information about the updated Acrobat PDF File
  2. Format & Find (Select) filters for Adobe Illustrator 5.5.

  4. This archive contains a new version of the Acrobat PDF File Format
  5. filter which has been updated to now recognize files created in Adobe
  6. Acrobat version 2.0.  This archive also contains a new version of the
  7. Find plug-in which corrects a problem in which the Select filter
  8. would not correctly select objects when using Illustrator 5.5 on a
  9. Power Macintosh.

  11. To use these filters, first remove the existing files - Acrobat PDF
  12. File Format, and Find - from your Adobe Illustrator Plug-Ins folder.
  13. (We suggest storing them in a temporary folder until you're sure
  14. that the new filters work for you.)  Next copy the new versions of the
  15. filters to your  Adobe Illustrator Plug-Ins folder. If you have
  16. Illustrator running, you must restart the application.
